About Multi-Asset Income
Investment Objective
The strategy is specifically structured to provide downside protection with a significant yield premium (+300-500bps) to the S&P 500® Index, while also participating in the long-term appreciation of the equity market. We expect the strategy to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns compared to the S&P 500® Index over a market cycle.
Investment Overview
The Multi Asset Income strategy was born out of 2008, developed to meet the needs of clients seeking participation in the long-term appreciation of equity markets, but not able to withstand large swings in short-term volatility. The fund utilizes a combination of common equity, high yield credit, and preferred stocks in attempt to meet those objectives. Fundamental bottom-up analysis paired with tactical adjustments are used to construct the portfolio.
